Top 5 Things You Need to Know About Getting Permanent Makeup
Don’t you just hate it when you spent a lot of time applying your makeup just for you to have to redo it because it smudged, streaked, or faded too soon? Ugh! That’s the worst!
The nice thing is that if you really wanted to, you could remove that issue from your life entirely and save yourself some time also. With that extra time, you could make yourself breakfast or take your time ordering your favorite brew at your local coffee shop on your way to work. This is all made possible by permanent makeup (PMU for short) tattoos.

It’s impossible to nail down a specific timeline for everyone as far as how long their PMU will last, but on average, it will last anywhere between three to five years (Amachi Med Spa, 2020). That’s still three to five years without having to do daily makeup application!
Does it hurt? While everyone has a different pain threshold, we use topical numbing cream both before and during the procedure to keep you as comfortable as possible. Many clients even fall asleep during their appointment!
Do I need to shave off my eyebrows before getting permanent ones? Absolutely not! Any of the unwanted eyebrow hairs will be removed during the permanent makeup/microblading process.
Will the PMU look fake when it’s done and healed? Nope, if permanent makeup is done professionally and correctly, there will be no fake look to it at all. Just take a look at some of my own customer reviews and their own thoughts in their own words!
