-What does the procedure involve?
Angie will use a machine to open the skin in the area you wish to have treated, in a very similar method to doing a Permanent Makeup procedure. She will then work a proprietary serum into the open skin that will allow the skin texture to restore & improve as it heals.
-Does it hurt?
Skin that has stretch marks is extra thin and can therefore be extra sensitive. While we don't pre-numb for this procedure, we can apply topical numbing once the skin has been opened to help keep you comfortable. On a scale of 1-10, the pain is usually around a level 2.
-How many treatments are needed?
We can see as much as 50% improvement in stretch marks in just one treatment! But if you desire further results, we can do addition treatments 6 weeks apart to allow for healing until we reach your desired results.
-What is the aftercare like?
Keeping the area clean is important, so washing/showering daily and applying cream twice a day is recommended for optimal results. No swimming or sweating for the first 4 days.
-How do I know if I'm a good candidate for this service?
If you have stretch marks and would like to see their appearance improve, you are a good candidate! This service cannot be done on anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding or on anyone under 18 years old.
